The picture of the statue below was made by an Iraqi artist named Kalat,
who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad.

This artist was so grateful that the Americans liberated his country, he melted 3 of the fallen Saddam heads and made a memorial statue dedicated to the American soldiers and their fallen comrades. Kalat worked on this night and day for several months.

To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the
soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms. It is
currently on display outside the palace that is now home to the 4th
Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped and shown at the
memorial museum in Fort Hood, Texas.

i genuinely apreciate the liberites i have, and to do anything other than take advantage of them in the fullest is to be ungreatfull in my opinion, what fuckin bugs me is when old motehrfuckers seem to want to tell me that the only way to pay homage is to have some nasty bad attitude about how other people dont truly respect what was done, fuckin assholes, i dont think many of you will follow me on this, fuck that negative bullshit and transferrance, its not my fault you are a jerk off and didnt realize you wouldnt be ahero your whole life, you made your choices when you were young, live with them and shut the fuck up and get over it, asswipe

whatever, dont try to understand that, im going to sleep

i see where you're going with that pip. ya'll mention the media.....i agree they do suck, their points of view are usually force fed on the bulk of people in our country, and being the lambs that they are, they eat it up. i think the problem with the pissed off old dudes is the fact that we FORGET too soon. but we can't live everyday bowing down to what they did....we (mostly) only give God one day a week. keep our soldiers , past, present and future in your prayers. that is probably the best way to show them homage and live FREE.

yeah, i have a pretty intimate knowledge of all of the inside stuff that happens with the war, the types of things that democratic candidates use to question GW, and i'm still willing to stick by any and all of his decisions.
