I was checking out eBay (I like to see the bikes for sale even though I couldn't afford another one if I wanted to), and there was a 2002 CBR 954 for sale.

He had a few mods to the bike, steering damper, Yoshi exhaust, and mostly cosmetic stuff. He never mentioned a PC.

He did however say that he had a high "performance racing chip" installed that added 20 horepower. What the hell is he talking about :?

Does anybody know what this chip may be?

I honestly have never heard of a chip for the 954. and I looked a bit.
I know chips are the hottest things for cars and trucks with computer control so all I can say is since he mentioned a bunch of cosmetic stuff and the infamous "I have a Yoshimura Pipe!" thing about his bike then to me it's all smack talk from a possible squid trying to impress someone.
Just a shot in the dark.

Sounds like bull shit to me. Chips for cars do the same thing as your PC3 (i think) And being around the 54 forums for a year and a half I have never heard a thing about it.
