: Hangin up my helmet
I didn't quite know where this thread fit, so I putsed it here.
Looks like fort the next 9 months I'll be eatin for two, and try as I might, I can't get the hubby to let me ride. I did however convince him to let me keep my bike and get rid of his. So if any of you (wheelie) know someone who wants a slightly used Gixxer 600 (1600 miles) PM me and lets talk. Other than that, looks like I will have more time for post whoring and such.
Just remember next time you complain about having to hang your helmet up for 3 months in the winter, that I have to do it for a year!
GeNeRaL 02-03-2005, 07:56 AM making your husband sell his bike is kinda selfish, unless im misunderstanding and you'll be letting him ride yours as well, to which case i'll just shut up now. lol
congrats and i hope everything goes well for you and your new arrival :)
1. I taught him how to ride
2. I didn't want the baby he did
3. His bike was a beginner bike and he wants to move up to a 100 anyway
4. I hate the gixxer
5. He may ride my bike if he wants, he probably won't because he knows if he crashes it it will break my heart
By-Tor 02-03-2005, 08:56 AM Congradulations. :)

Using the back yard for a dirt track is lookin better everyday :-). Thanks guys, actually, I was relly upset when I found out cause I had my first track day planned at Barber in May, how sick is that, my joy was overshadowed by the let down of my track day, I think I have issues :-)
cbrjimmy1KRR 02-03-2005, 09:38 AM no issues in my opinion.
it was something you were really looking forward to and it couldn't be.....who wouldn't be disappointed on that hand?, but on the other hand.......there is much joy on it's way to you and i'm sure you're smiling about that :D
olderRR. 02-03-2005, 09:41 AM 2. I didn't want the baby he did
Well, I hope you have changed your mind on that one!
That's actually pretty exciting. I can't wait for my kids to start having kids. It's the only way I'll get to have another baby. GOOD LUCK!
:D
6 months of 4 hours sleep stints, 3 more years of diapers when I am jsut finishing potty training with my last one, gaining weight, sore feet... WEEE FUN.
Oh, the baby, yeah I guess nothing really compares to a little person that you cooked in your tummy, I feel sorry for you men that you will never know how cool that is. I can make people, adn I don't even need one of you, just a turkey baster on a sat ngiht if I wanted to :-D

Guys are still useful. When Cloning is perfected, you'll still want a few of us around. Ya know. To carry heavy things... Maybe put a few of us out on the entertainment ranch. Stuff like that!

My wife is suffering through her second urinary track infection with 7 weeks to go till her due date. Better her than me :D
Yeah but she gets to make people in her tummy, how cool is that? the whole pregancy thing can be a drag though. I don't mind the labor, all mine come out in record time so it's short and sweet.
By-Tor 02-03-2005, 10:37 AM I don't want stretch marks.
I would never be able to wear a thong again
gntbldr 02-03-2005, 10:49 AM geeeratz kat!
and did anyone ever tell you that yer a lil twisted?! :P
Nemisis 02-03-2005, 11:18 AM You can get a baby potty trained in 2 years. (Something to look forward too) All the babies in my family have done it and usually takes just 2 to 3 weeks of training and mishaps here and there. We just take off the babies diaper and never get mad just encouragement. Babies HATE to be wet and dirty. One time my boy didn't make it to the toilet but made a mad dash for it. Took a dump right outside the bathroom door. Me and my wife just told him you almost there YOU CAN DO IT! He was a little scared but lit up once he knew his parents weren't mad but supportive. Sorry for the long story but a very sweet memory for me. Be positive, bikes are no were near the joy of a baby.
actually, my husband and I just got in HUGE argument about potty training my daughter, she wet herself and he wanted to leave her in it. Well lets jsut say it didn't end pretty. Sometimes you boys need to concede to your wives when it comes to the kids
Tall_Dallas 02-03-2005, 12:45 PM WOW!

Good thing you're keeping your 1K... I'll have to swing by once a month or so and keep it (ah-hem)... dusted off for ya
