My starter button is broke so im putting a new one on.

I took the top cover off, but now I cant get the throttle cables off of the handlebar, I used pliers but I cant get no slack to get them out of the groove. I loosened the nuts on the line by the handlebar controls but that didnt help....am i supposed to just slide it off the handebar or something?

and it looks like i have to take the whole airbox assembly out to unplug the starter button switch shoot

yea the first time I put these on, (the grip is the throttle hook-up)

I tore the hell out of the original getting it off, only to not be able to get the cables onto the new one
you have to go under the tank & loosen the cables under there
I really like these grips
but if you have or ever do, tear up your grip-throttle-hookup-thing,
these work well, your grips never slip w/ these
the left side actually screws down

so is that th ing u posted cruise control too? i want cruise control that is why im askign and i mays well do it while its tore apart
