Anonymous 03-01-2004, 05:09 PM did you try kicking it?
nah for real, try getting it to push start maybe?
thats wht i always do, if it dont work right, force it!
Truck 03-01-2004, 05:54 PM Sounds like a sylonoid problem, unless you have bad connection with battery terminals.
Wheelie 03-01-2004, 06:29 PM I had to push start mine today, first time out this year, dead battery. weeee
BigRich954RR 03-01-2004, 11:08 PM it just started working, so i took it out for a ride. i guess i'll fix it later.

I did that in front of a bunch of people with my first new bike... was dumbfounded from the frazzle and when I finally came to I NEVER made THAT mistake again.
Anonymous 03-04-2004, 08:26 AM hahahaha.....
Anonymous 03-05-2004, 12:14 AM man everyones done that shit at least once
Truck 03-05-2004, 12:03 PM A friend of mine just bought a 04 Milli r and done the same thing. I let him go for about 30 minutes laughing my ass off until i finally told him.
Unfortnatly we went riding last night and he dumped it in a curve , broke a rib and bruised a lung. The mili only had 130 miles on it. I told him not to buy a 14,000.00 motorcycle to learn on, oh did i mention that.TO LEARN ON :!:
oh well I hope that he has learned a lesson :(
JoeRocket954 03-05-2004, 12:07 PM Damn that sucks. But who spends that much cash on a bike to learn on??? Sounds like he needs to invest in a 600....and I'm not talking about an RR either!
cbrjimmy1KRR 03-05-2004, 12:09 PM damn.....that's what happens when you go for style, and something goes wrong. learn on a fookin beater, ride by yourself for a while, learn your limits THEN get something nice. shit will happen, but it is less likely to happen when you know how to get out of it. it took me almost 2 yrs before i'd ride with anybody else......now i still ride alone.....up front...LOL ok....i'm off my soapbox now :P
sorry to hear about your bud, truck...i hope he heals fast. that's one helluva lesson to learn. be safe
Truck 03-05-2004, 01:42 PM Yea I tried to get him on an old fzr 400 or 600 but nun doin he had to have the mili. Oh well lessons learned. I talked to him a little while ago and hes doing better than we thought he would, which means he's not in as much pain as the doc thought. But still sucks. I got to ride it right before he wrecked and man ive never been on a bike that handled like that awsome :!: Im like you guys get a beater and learn on cause youre goin to wreck the odds are against you. He pulled what we all pull and came into a curve stood it up panicked and grabbed a hanfull of prime time brembo and locked the front up and whashed her out. He landed in the softest spot ive ever seen though all leaves no rocks, roots stumps, guardrail or anything. Luckely we were only going 35mph for his sake, still didnt help though hu :!: A well alls well that ends well.
BigRich954RR 03-05-2004, 07:14 PM no i highside the bike and i just got it work again kinda working still small bugs
