the new big red took down the gix 1000! the king is dead..

Its hard to tell with all those Honda ads in the Magazine. I am not so sure the writers wouldnt be obligated to give a great review but lets hope your right.

What I got outa the magizine is that the 1000RR caught it, but beat .... That I would watch who I talked shit too.

For example: CBR had like a 10.14 1/4 and the gixx was higher (can't remember what) but the 03 Gixx I believe had a better 1/4 then the 04 so it was real close (if not better) than the CBR. 145 hp up from the 954 tested at 137.

Sorry lent the mag to a freind or I would copy the numbers, but thats what I got from it.

I might get it just for the changes: gas tank, damper, exhaust, clutch, unit prolink, etc....

Cycle World had a lemon. Sorry! that was a real shitty review and a shameful attempt to be the first mag in the US with a comparo. They suck.

As usual, i agree with 2K.... lol

You gotta watch how you read these magazines. Last year they were all about the "new" gixxer 1k.... now it seems like they are all about the cbr1k... to me it just sounds like they try to sell alot of people on just one or two reviews.

And also, you have to keep this in mind if you are going to race your bike... street or track... there are probably people out there that don't use 100% of their bike because they are scared... then there are crazy peeps the use 100% everyday.
