refer them to the cycleworld April 2004 issue where they test the 1000RR vs the GSXR1k. that should shut em up :D

sportrider dynoed the r1 at 158 hp.

Everytime I changed my oil on my Gixxer 1000 (2001) the oil would have alot of metal shavings in it, kinda discourages me in wanting another one. weeee

I saw a 750 gixxer with 20,000 on it that needed rebuilding. I also saw a kawi 636 that only had 2500 miles on it that the main bearings had spun. The mechinic told me he knew the guy and that he babied it. :!:

Sure the gsxr is fast but is the 1000RR faster. Leave it up to the pros on the track and the numbers speak. at daytona DuHamel hit 192mph. lap times for honda were 2 seconds faster. 1:47.65 -Ben bostrum 1:48.475-Duhumel both 1000RR riders then two R1 riders then after that the gsxr came across the line at 1:49.935 with Yates riding. So whats up with that. I think that settles it.
