Also I wanted to know what you guys think of Two Brothers Racing Exhausts?
I have a new 954 and stock pipe is not cuttin it! Everyone on here talks about thier Hindle, Akprovic (sp?), devil and D&D. I rarely hear about TBR or Yosh. I have had GIXXERS with yosh pipes and my CBR F3 had a TBR. I enjoyed the TBR but it dont seem anyone has them.

I would like to know your opinions of them on the 954 or what would be better to put on instead.

Hey greg, welcome to the site. I got family in Scottsdale. Nice roads out there. As far as pipes, the D&D pipe sounds fucking awesome on the 954rr. I few guys who had 954's that I ride with had them and they were the best sounding bikes in Erie. Go with the D&D and you will not be disappointed. :twisted:

if you want HP gains, ive heard great things about the micron serpent headers & pipe, as well as the akrapovic full systems.

don't bother with the 2 bros-- decent sound but not much louder than stock

Got the $$? Get the Akra, on a budget? get the Hindle, power is very close to the Akra, I had a Hindle on my 954, listen to it in this video. weee

yea i did sorry i just heard Micron was cheap and not very good at all so i thought to leave it off the list i am sure there are others that i have missed

I loved the TBR pipe and the way it made my F3 sound but i want what is best for the 954 so whatever makes it sound the best(deep rumble) and gives it the best performance (hp) gain.

I just dont know yet

i just got the akraprovic on my bike about a week ago and love it. i went with the full system and if you do you should think about the PC. im going to do the PC this week but i know for sure i need it. the sound of the akraprovic is good. it gives you a deep sound with out being to loud. if you want very loud go with D&D. i just think they are to loud.

Well i have had a Jardeen, D&D, Micron and now a Akrapovic on the 54. I will say that i gained noticable hp taking off the jardeen and putting on a micron. I will say that the akrapovic is probably best built but the micron is a close second. The only thing that sucks worse than a Jardeen on this thing is the D&D. I guess im just plain old cause i just dont like for the LEO's to hear me riding from the next county away. Pluss the worst hp gains were from the Jardeen and the D&D (Noticable difference).
I personally like the sound of the micron the best cause its got a good very deep low tone to it and its not that loud. Id say that the hp gains if you can even feel a difference is definatley betweeen the micron and the akrapovic. The akra has a higher pitch sound to it and it soulds like an indy car and is a bit louder. It depends on what sound you like to hear. If you like high pitch go with the akrapovic, if low then go with the Micron. I really dont think you will be unhappy with either of them.
Of course i hear that the Arta is a great pipe too but i havent heard one. I also know that scorpion is made by the people that founded akrapovic. It has a very similar sound to it and I think they still offer a lifetime warranty on that one as long as you dont trash it on a crash.

IMO, Akrapovic is the best. slip or full system. I've had both the slip and full and I've heard/seen all the others. Arata is close and best bang for the buck, DEVIL HIGH MOUNT SLIP are nice too.

I have the Erion bolt on. I have to say it sounds pretty good. Its even better after I cut that stupid cone off the end of the mid pipe.

I have a D&D pipe on my bike and it is F&^King loud, unless you like attention. I think it's sick. i love the sound of it, it's like an F1 car at full rev. My buddies say they can here me on the HWY running the gears. "SPEED LIMIT OF COURSE" :ohshit::w00ta::w00ta:. If I had my way i would get the full akro systema dn ditch the cervo, all depends on the rding you do. I figure if i can be heard i can be seen.

A full akro evo system will output a tad over 140hp on a 954 :)

imo, the full micron with serpents system is the way to go for the 54. ive been very pleased with mine, its got a low throaty, almost v-twinish sound. power gains were pretty impressive as well.

I have a Two Brothers pipe on my 954 and I love it. It sounds great!

Go custom, build one or have one built, way better sound and if you get your PC III custom mapped the bike is sickkkkkkkkkkkk:kickass1:

This is my winter project, so lots to be done yet almost everything is being changed. as of now I have done a Gp swing are and Gp exhaust. Sounds so gorgeous.
