It's time to upgrade the motor I need to know who has done the engine mods, how are the results, dyno numbers possibly, also where to get the kits. Doing as much research I can before dropping the cash down......not looking for turns - straight line strip and cruise on the street........I'll save the turns for a track bike.

Hi 04BlackBlade - I'm in Charlotte and know Lee well. By all means call him and see what he'll do. I went by for a similar quote. He doesn't use HRC parts. He was going to send the cylinders out and have them bored 60 thousanths over and replace the pistons with stock oversize pistons. This gives you a 1060 cc. engine. They also take the cams and have them welded and reground to their specs. He said this will net me approximately 190-200rwhp; yet the bike will run on pump gas and be street legal. The price quoted was $5800 which seems reasonable. My problem is that they keep your bike for 3-6months. I can't be without the motorcycle that long. They ship most of the parts out to be worked on and mostly just disassemble and assemble everything. I've never seen any Honda's which he has worked on; but I have raced a few of the GSXR 1000's with a claimed 183rwhp. They beat me easily in a drag race but they were strapped and had stretched swing arms. When we ride to bike rally's on the crooked road; I bash them badly!

3~6 months for a bike motor rebuild and dyno / test and delivery back to customer ? Not right... AT ALL. Go to another tuner.
