ok...i'm new to the mech part to all this and i was trying to change my plugs. took off the air box cover and in the lower left side of the box next to velocity stacks was a puddle of goo. i couldn't tell if it was gas or oil. kinda smelled like a a sweetish mixture of both. the butterfly valves have some black stuff on them and it comes off with alcohol. bad rings?? all advice is welcome!!!!

that is grease put there at the factory, it starts brown but turns black from dirt that gets trough the filter. I was told not to clean it off by my mechanic.

now if i could get some help with te last fucking plug :x :x :x :x

oil finding its way threw the air box is normal also..aint that plug a bitch? I was pulling my hair out trying to get that plug in :frustrated:

man i finally got it about 3 total hours of trying and having to walk away...then trying again. the tool is too long for the area you have to work with, but it has to be to reach the plug :? but i got it.....then the snap broke off the plug so i had to zip tie that....hope that holds.

i never want to do that again. had a great ride this evening though. 58 and starry texas skies...... :D :D :D
