after a while of not knowing whether or not the guy was gonna buy my car, he finally came through. it was pretty neat to go to the ATM and withdraw some money and then see the account balance at the bottom with $16K more in it than i had the day before. of course my friend who's family owns a local yamaha and suzuki dealership called me on the way to buy my bike asking what i was doing. i chuckled and said im going o buy the honda. he let a couple of colorful words slip and said to "go ahead and buy that piece of shit, then come up here and after i get this 2k5 gixxer-1000 thats sitting on the floor serviced and ill kick your ass in anything you want to do: roadracing, drag racing, wheelies, stoppies....." i said," damn, man. i thought we were friends?" he said "friends dont go buy hondas out from under their suzuki friends." its ok though. after i went and paid for my bike (.....that check hurt.....not everyday i write one for $10K) i went by and bought the spools i needed from him and he still gave me the hook-up. :D
i bought the gregg's flushmounts, now i just need to decide b/t the micron and the akra exhaust and get the power commander, filters, and the taillight integrator thingy.
