A very troubling incident happened today in the Daytona 200 when factory Suzuki rider Aaron Yates collided with a slower rider on lap 48. Yates and the slower rider, Anthony Fania on the KWS Suzuki 1000.

The crash itself was not pretty, with the bike colliding and then sliding off the track and hitting the track side barriers. You can go to sleep tonight knowing that both riders blame the other for the incident.

After the crash is when the troubling aspects occurred.

Moments after the crash, live television caught Yates, obviously incensed, apparently jumping on Fania as he lay partially prone on the ground. Fania fled the scene, and Yates, after a few moments, followed after him and body-blocked him into the barrier, and pushed him as well. A pit lane incident followed between members of the teams, say eye-witnesses.

AMA Pro Racing is known to be investigating the entire incident.

Hot rumor pulsing through the paddock at the moment is that Fania is pressing charges against Yates and the police have been summoned. Stay tuned.

Yates didn't really land the dropkick and those shoves were just out of frustration. They weren't meant to hurt. The guys a jealous homo and should learn that tempers flaring up is part of racing. If your slow, then get the hell out of the way.

Why should yates end up paralyzed because some clown can't choose his lines right.

IT look like to me that the drop kick landed pretty good and when he went after him a second time he head bunded him with his helmet thats a bunch of bull shit.I been crashed into a few times when its not my fault and not intensional thats just part of racing. I got rear ended in turn 5 at Daytona ,we both whiped out,the dude that hit me was laying face down and wasnt moving,I got up and walked over to him to see if he was ok,he was just laying face down because he felt like a dickhead for hitting me..100% his fault,I was already committed in the turn and he was hold to much speed..ooo well,I picked my shit up and finished dead last.. :roll:

correct me if i'm wrong. if a slow racer is about to get passed by someone on the lead lap, a blue flag comes out which means 'get off the race line'. now these guys were making a right and yates decides to pass this guy on the 'outside' hence the collision. who's wrong. yates is a dick. i wouldnt be suprised if they took away his racing licence. all that violence shit is for the street. dudes gonna start packin' in their leathers.

the slow rider was mid line which is fair with approaching faster riders. yates should have taken the inside.
