launch friendly.
Ben said he broke his clutch at the start. Vermeulen had the same problem in WSBK. It's just not pretty.

they were saying something like that during the bike test.....that it made a godawful sound when they were trying to slip the clutch on a hard launch........ :x

yep. and ben said the same thing during his interview. something about some thing sounded like it snapped in the clutch and he must have finished it off during the race. also, jake zemke had a really bad start. i think he whellied and stalled. at least thats what it looked like

I finally got that copy of cycle world, it looks like the 1000 makes its torque right off the line, starting around 2000rpm... the 954 makes it a lil later....
so the 54 still could beat the 1000 in a race? because the 1000 can't launch like the 54 and they are close in times and speed.... :?

Maybe this is whay there is a production delay. If this was the case why wouldnt it have been published like the tranny problem on the new Kawi...
Has anyone heard anything on why there is a delay?
