to each his own..all these new bikes are all about the same,,what ever feels and looks best..its all rider!! but the fact is Honda is the best ,all around best bike and the gixxer cant catch it..you see the 200? the honda were blazzing..the gixxer didnt have a chance..Matts team/pit crew had a game plan and it work out for them and the fact that Ben and Erics machines had some problems,if not for that he would of gotten smoked..

All the gixxer 1000 owners I know walk and talk like they are the shit, but to be honest even if the new cbr1000 was the slowest of the litre bikes I would still get one, I am brand loyal I know what to expect when riding a Honda I feel comfortable on them. 60% of gixxer1k owners are posers thats it and I can't sugar coat it for these guys, even dudes on there forum talk shit about there own people just goes to show you how simple minded these dudes are!! :D !

I agree Rippin...most guys that have gixxer1k's have them because they WERE "the king" bike last year and they do talk alot of shit... but when it comes down to it... they'd get beat because they are too afraid to really get on it, or they are too afraid that a 954 will run them and win...

I tell everyone..the 954 is fast..they think because the gixxer is 1000cc's its gonna blow the 954 away..in my video where me and my boy Richie(RIP)are ripping down a 5 mile straight,guess who was in front? me!! he couldnt pass me!! all he use to say is"your bike aint stock"..noone would belieave it was stock..now on my 600 these guys still can smoke me,just a little bit on the straights but once the turn comes up in passing them on inside and outside..now my 600RR isnt stock and now rumors are flying all over NY that my 600RR puts out 145HP lol..no wonder why I got 1000 guys scared to run me for the big bucks :D

no doubt... i mean come on... they said the gixxer1k was faster than the 954... but the stats showed it was only .2-.5 seconds faster... and these were "pro" riders testing them (not pros as in racers, pros as in 1000's of track hours logged)...

on the street... you have your good and bad riders... and the majority aren't that good. I know 2 people that have gixxer1k's and neither one of them like to race... they are more into stunting i guess...

When I wrecked, I was leading a gix1, 2-gix6s, and a R6 on a yama fzr 600 and was blowing there doors off for about 15 miles before I blew into and 35mph switchback at about 80. The bike I was riding was missing somthing terrible and I could only get about 80 out of her at the time and still couldnt see them in the mirrors. But shouldnt have been in the lead on a road I didnt know huu :roll:

I bought the CBR casue it's fast, fells great, COMFORTABLE and will last longer then Any GSXR....
