I got the bike back together Sunday-and WOW-the black powdercoating looks so awesome...its hard to believe that something that seems so subtle can give the bike a whole new look-if Darth Vader had a bike this would be it!! Im posting the link to my website-should be up and running within the next 24 hrs-possibly sooner. Also the guy who did the work for me is awesome-the work is flawless and I posted his website too...not advertising..just trying to help the little people. www.newcarolina.com/phil.htm

If you get the case covers done, I think you will have the best looking 1000RR ever. Almost makes me wish I had the black RR now!

What exactly is this ESD Powdercoating process ?

Check out the link on my website (final touch powdercoating) it explains the process-essentially the way i look at it..its magnatized powder that clings to the metallic part and then you back it on-its tough and more durable than regular paint.
