Well guys i just picked it up my new 04 1000rr on friday... I've actually been out riding so much i haven't had the chance to post up on here. The thing is amazing, so smooth.. wasn't sure if i had made the right decision on the color or not until i picked it up..Here are a couple pics of mine and my buddy's. Mines the black one.

I got Pirellis on mine, Black1000rr got bridgestones. Both are great tires. He likes the battlax, I like the diablos.

been great here. lil chilly but still great.

Ya it has been decent here as well, been getting up around 65 most days. Little chilly late at night but it's definitely worth it. took the signals off today, man it was a bitch to get that right signal wire disconnected.

did your bud with the red one paint the inside of his screen, I've seen some people do that before.

I would do it but it would suck when your really tring to tuck in and you still have to look above the screen.

I had a dark DB on my 54 and I won't buy a dark again either.

Dont sweat the pieilli, if they are the diablo corsa then they are a track tire made to be ridden on the road. If that is the case be ware in the rain, they dont stick so good. If the diablo then there street and will do great in the rain.
Either will stick like glue, scrubbin the knee is no problem. :wink:
