Not really a TECH and TUNING question, but I need help with my Undertail

Alright guys, I need your help.

I have just bought an undetail and I can't get the fuckin' blinkers on it to work.

On the undertail, there are two wires, RED and BLACK. OK I'm not that stupid, I know the RED is power and BLACK is ground. How in the hell do I splice the wires without fucking anything up?

On the stock blinkers, as I'm sure you all know, the left side has a green and orange wire, and on the left it is green and blue.

I'm under the impression that the green is the power for both blinkers. I don't have instructions with my undertail and I hate ELECTRICAL modifications, One fuck up and you could fry your whole system.

What I did was hook up the RED wire from the undertail to the green wire on the stock blinkers. Trying to get a ground, I connected the black to a Bolt on the frame and nothing. I tried a few different combinations, including just hooking up the RED to green, and Black to the orange.

I can't get these damn things to work. I'm sure many of you have done this, how should I splice these wires to get these damn things to work.

Thanks for the input guys.

The Green wires are the "negative" I am pretty sure at least, and the orange and blue are the turn "power" wires. They are colored so you can tell which side goes with the left signal switch, and vise-versa. Get a multi meter to be sure.
As for blowing the whole system, I wouldn't worry about that. That's what fuses are for. I fried a fuse the first time I wired my after market ones.

So... Attach the red wire from the left aftermarket signal to the orange power wire and the blue wire from right power wire to the red wire from the right turn.
Once you have confirmed they are correct place 1 1/2 inch's of shrink tube over the wire, then sodder the wires together, then slide the shrink tube over, and heat the tube till it shrinks, or use quick conectors, and crimp those on. Tuck all the wires away so its nice and neat........
WEEEEEEEEEE!

I think.. lol

Definitely use the shrink tube. I replaced a friend of mine's 929 undertail that he put in with quick connectors and the wiring was corroding bad. Water will get inside your trunk either from riding in the rain/wet roads or from washing. Shrink tubing will keep your connections water tight.
