I'm getting the wife a 600rr real soon. The first thing I'm doing to it is getting rid of the mud flap/license plate holder. Anybody know of a good undertail kit to go with? Thanks

Ebay has them pretty cheap, but if I were you, go to 1tailaccessoires.com, I got my 1000's undertail kit from them. they shipped right to my house and they were great with questions that I asked them.

Are you going to get a aftermarket exhaust for it too?

If so I heard a 600rr the other day with the hotbodies undertail with the outlet coming out of the center of the undertail and it sounded bad ass.

I the the whole kit is like $700 or close to that.

Damn, that's not bad. That pipe has to be extremely short. And loud  . I wish I could here what it sounds like.

Yeah, I have a two brothers on my 954 and I love the sound of it, I'm not to sure what to go with on the 600. Do they unbolt like the 954 or is it a pain in the ass to change?

The hotbodies sounds neat, I'd like to see a picture of it.

I went with the Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator and the Jardine Aluminum Slip on for my 1000RR
380.00 to my door from www.indysuperbikes.com

Got the pipe, just waiting for the fender kit to arrive so I can do both at the same time.

Max, thanks for the links. That kit from hotbodies looks bad ass! I love how clean that makes the back of the bike. From the sound you heard what pipe does it sound like?

micron.

micron.

Yea the one I heard sounded like a micron but just louder.

I've never heard a micron. They aren't too obnoxious sounding are they? From the quietest to loudest pipe where do you think it fell as far as noise? I'm just afraid that because she is going to be riding it mostly that she might not like the noise if its killing her ears. That is a lot of money to shell out and then find out she's doesn't like it because of the noise.

Ah, it's for the women. Definately don't go with a D&D. she'll hate the bike and give it to you.

I would rate Micron right in the middle for volume. My brother has a Micron on his R1 and it is quieter than the Devil I had on my old 954.

Has a nice deep tone too it without being over loud.

I don't think its as loud as a d&d, but I do think riding it, it would be even less noisey than some just because its tucked up under like that.

I don't think anything is as loud as a D&D.

How does it compare to a Two Brothers Exhaust?

Anonymous

I had a 2bros slipon on my 54 for a little while but I never really heard it going by. I would think that pipe is louder than a 2bros cause mine didn't seen very loud compaired to my yosh.

I'm thinking about this pipe when I get a new bike but I got to get the bike first. I like the way it looks and I think it would be easier to keep clean.

My boy has a Yosh on his busa. I like the sound of that. So do you think the micron is comparable to the Yosh?

I just called the dealer and the tribal paint schemes just came in. I'm going up Saturday, probably going to come home with the 600rr. It lists for $8999, he said he is going to work on the price especially since I bought the 954 from him. We'll see.

yea I think the sound of yosh is close to the micron from the microns i've heard.

Good luck on the bike.

Alright boys, my husband is showing me all the posts! We are going to the dealer tomorrow. I am so nervous, but really excited. I'm glad it's going to be a good weekend so I can start learning in the parking lot. When we get the bike, we'll get a couple pictures up for the boys.

Thanks for all of the help on the undertail kit. I'll look them over with "My Meatstick" and we'll come up with a plan. See ya.
