gay!!!

Don't be mad at me 'cause I didn't get an Arai. I don't like the way they fit my cranium. Besides, the RF1000 is pretty good. I saw them in person before I made my final decision.

Regarding the jacket, it was either the Icon or Joe Rocket, and I'm not a particular fan of Joe Rocket.

The SMX-2 is off da hook so stop hatin. :D

ditch the gloves.
You won't be happy with your wrists if you don't. Get something with more overlap and palm base and knuckle protection. imho.

I'm looking at these gloves from Alpinestars.

Stuna, If I were to come out with your crew, I would wear my two piece Teknic from last season. Not that squid gear. I would rock that to work.

Stuna,

By the way, I saw lloyds old Gixxer at Whitey's. Da Rat saw me looking at the bike and said: "Don't even think about it"!!! I laughed my ass off.

You guys are that hard on your bikes?! Damn, much respect to you Deli Bizz boyz.

I'm just asking for it these days. My first mistake was buying a shitwagon Ducati.

If I wreck this year. The Duc is going to be my CCS racebike for 05. :D I think I want to try my hand at Loudon. If I can run a 1:18 I know I can win races in Amateur.

Stuna, How difficult is it to run 1:18s-1:20s at Loudon???

it takes most people about 1 to 2 seasons to hit 18's..its hard to take off seconds at Loudon, scary track..
its hard for most rider, but if you got nice skills and a big set of balls you can do low 17's like me by your 2nd weekend 8) you will see if you go there.you will probably run 1:35's your first time..me I ran a 1:23 :D
what else did the Rat warn you about?

You're right about it being scary I guess. A couple of guys that I know said that it's a lot of blind turns and you just have to know where everything is and what lines to take. Sounds nutz.

Da Rat didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. You guys are the hardest runners in NYC, and basically, I don't want to get hurt trying to mess around.

Like I always say. "The only way you're going to get fast, is to be in fast company." Everybody had to get left at some point. Right?

if you can run 1:20 or 1:22 depending on who your racing with and if you preregister you can win..or unless you got some guys that milk it and instead of getting bumpped to expert they stay amateur so they can get some 1st place plaques..i had a guy like that in my races thats why i never got anything better then a 1st place, but riding behind him got me faster from a 1:20 - 1:17.4's with in 18 laps i drop more then 3 seconds..everyone hated him for staying amateur that long,I almost beat him,I passed him on the out side of turn 1 on the last lap and some rookie lap rider desided to jump in the fast line and i side swiped him,him and his bike did about 3 end of end flips, they took him away in the meat wagon,my bike shut off and I finished 5th after trying to get it restarted for a few seconds..

I figured guys would be trying to milk it. I was on the site looking at the lap times the other day and I saw 1 or two guys running 1:18s and the rest of the field was in the high 1:20s and slower. I was confused because I know that 1:18's is Junior times and 1:14's is expert. Oh well. I guess I'll see.

The rules didn't make any sense, because in the rules that I downloaded it said you couldn't modify the stock exhaust. I was like, "that's BS"!!!! All those bikes are modified.

you dont need to 14's to become expert,18's even 19's you just need to finsh a good amount of races and get the point,,from 1st - 15th you get points..if i was to race again i would milk it also and fill my wall space with 1st place plaques :D

most people when they hit a 19 they get stuck there for a while,,from what i heard and seen brakeing past the 19's is hard..but i wouldnt know

the plaque is about 6x8 and 8x10..

I guess it gets to the point that if you're riding faster than a certain time, you're sliding all over the place.

hey turbo....don't get anything with that breatheable mesh crap. it's just that....CRAP!!! if you go down with those on, you will be in a world of hurt, i promise you. i ride year round with gauntlet style N2 gloves with carbon fiber knuckles. do they get hot in the summer?? HELL YES!! but i know that if i go down i am protected for more than a few feet.

but seriously, if you buy that Icon jacket....you better be brushing up on you self defense skills......sorry bro, but that's just plain Fugly!! be safe
