oem produces more power

i did have a related question though

im getting a scotts oil filter because its laser drilled, i know some of you all cent seem to tighten aftermarket oilfilters up properly, but i think ill manage, thje reason im getting one is its holes are laser drilled and it only lets particles through of a certain micron size, where ass paper based filters let shit through thats bigger because of degradation and medium variation, do they make air filters like this? i mean maybe thats what a k and n is sorta, im just the curious

Anyone ever seen an engine with 100k plus miles on it? As long as you use a quality oil filter, like a Mobil 1 108, change the oil when recommended, and keep the oil @ the proper level... you will never have any problems with your oil filtration. It's not a high tech rocket from NASA, just a regular old machine.
Just my 2cents.

I recently changed to a K&N and added a PC3 at the same time. Bike seems to have a smoother power band, better low end response and better breathing at high rpms. HP gains? who knows, but the bike does feel better. Did not like the install of the K&N though, not an exact fit over the airbox.

Probably more of a result of the PC3 than the filter.

Also installed the Scott's oil filter - very cool...
