I spent $130 on a new harmonic damper, $50 on the valve covers, and $425 on the adjustable rockers all for my amc 401
I got a deal on all except the covers and I found out that if you call instead of going through the online purchases you can talk with someone and ask them for advice and if you let them take authority (with your guidance) they will be sensitive and adjust the price a bit...
The damper was $150 and the rockers were $510
I also got a garmin eTrex legend for $60 off this one places asking price from finding a price that they matched...
the only thing I got from jegs was the covers..... darn un-budgeables theyare...

I FINALY got to working on the beast.
got the damper on and started on the rockers which are friggin awesome to work with.

besides the hefty price I don't know why I didn't move into adjustable rockers before this.

It'll be real nice driving around in the beast for weekend warrior fun. :D

headed to reregister it tomorrow and the fucked up thing is it's going to start raining here again for the next few days or whatever... Time to rig up a tarp for warm rain rocker instalation  :P

YeeeeHaw!
