The wife has decided since she just took her motorcycle safety course that she wants to lower her bike. They were riding 250 Nighthawks and she said she can stand with both feet flat on the ground. On her 600 she is on the balls of her feet. So is there anything I can do to the suspension to drop it? The dealer says not really. And if I go with lowering links what comany should I go with? I know taking corners is not going to be as good, but I don't ever see her really leaning hard in the corners anyway.

I have used them for lowering links, extensions, straps, everything drag racing related and they have never done me wrong. The guy does top notch work and it's all made in house.
As far as handling, there will be little difference at "sane" highway speeds. I ride with an old school ama supersport privateer all the time (he's also my boss) and I can hang with him on all but the most rediculous stuff. Simply put anything you can do on the street with a nice curvey mountain road can still be done as long as you are traveling at ticket pace, not jail pace. I have a ball with mine still and it's dropped 3 and 3.

IVE DEALT WITH GURLS TRYING TO GET BIKES LOWERED A BIT MYSELF, TWO OTHER OPTIONS THAT WORK WELL ARE TAKING OFF THE SEAT AND SHAVING IT DOWN A LITTLE, AND TAKE THE SUBFRAME OFF, TAKING IT TO A WELDER, AND HAVING THEM NOTCH IT SO THE SEAT IS A FEW INCHES LOWER, LOWERING THE SEAT BY NOTCHING THE SUBFRAME ONLY WORKS IF SHE CAN REACH THE BARS, HOW TALL IS SHE?

If you were here in NYC I could send you somewhere where they could lower the bike and have the kickstande welded and made shorter for her.

Update... my 6 is back to stock (handles much nicer :) now) I will bitch at my buddy to let me know so I can let you know.
I can also trade you the stock kickstand, as I cut and welded mined for the lowering link but needs to be taller now...
