Some boyz came up from florida last night and I bumped into them and one of the guys was riding a new zx10 talking all kinds of smack about how he was tracking his other bike a gixxer 1000 bla, bla, bla. He came up to ride here in NC. So I turned them onto some good places to ride, I told them to go to the dragons tail but they had never heard of it. DUUUU :!: That was my first clue. Well I was out today enjoying the nice 70 degree weather and I bumped into them, so we hit the blue ridge parkway. Prior to gettin on the parkway hes telling me about 140 mph wheelies and crap. So I take em up to the parkway and the only one to stay with me is this kid thats on a 03 R1 and this is his first time riding, never saw the z until I stopped and we waited on them. Now I know that this isnt a reflection on the bike but the rider but just wanted to say sorry I havent seen what one will do yet still :!: :sprint:

I had to brake off from them and later on this afternoon I came home on the parkway and saw those fresh tire marks of one goin off the road then went by there motel and didnt see there truck and tralier there, hope it wasnt one of them. 8)

Sounds like your average squid, Truck.

Doesn't know how to ride at all, but goes out and gets the best ride possible just to say he's fast. It's good you showed him up.

that's another reason why i won't upgrade for another year or two. i like it when "bigger" bikes come out with us bragging about how fast they are, and they are left behind by our SLOWEST guys......we hardly ever see that type again ....they go find drag racers or some uber-squids :P :P

good job truckster :D

it took me a few months to get use to my bike, and i can imagine that it usually takes most people a least a month or 2 to get use to it...

I don't know if i really want a 1000 now... cause it doesn't really look THAT much better than what I have now. I am very comfy on my 54, so why give that up...

Well I really dont expect much from guys that come from somewhere thats relitevly flat and there hair pen curves are not really hair pen, here if the sighn says 25mpg it means it,"for cars anyways". But all the big talk dont mean crap when the rubber meats the road.
I went riding today with my boy jason on his RC and we were carvin pretty good till four highway showed up and shut the road down, but thats the nice thing about around here, there is always another road. We were riding with all sorts, gixxer1000's, R1 and r6's and they couldn't hang with jason and me. The thing is there is guys here that is faster but they sure better know how to ride. Im finding out that it doesnt matter what someone is riding as long as they have some skills or it really doesnt matter. Talk is cheap and worth even less. Anyways it was a real good 70 degree day and we had fun :!:
