im heading to CMP in kershaw, sc sunday for my first track day... taking the 954 down there to see how she can do... had her at the gap, sv, and lots of other local riding places around here, but never really had a chance to open her up yet.

i will post up plenty of pics of the 954 and a couple 1Krr's are heading down with us

You're gonna love it for sure. It makes road riding seem so boring.

Have fun!!!!!! 8)

HOLY SHIT!! it was awesome... wow the bike kicks ass, loved it... pics to follow.... gotta wait for my bud to post em up on the server, i think the track record there is 1:39 and my fastest lap was 2:04... had some troubles downshifting and hittin in first gear... think i may have damaged the clutch on the last session...getting a skip in the wheel when in first gear and i let off of the throttle (not pulling clutch or depressing the brake)

i will get the pics up and running ASAP!!!

I rode on two tracks in England and loved it. Brands Hatch and Snederton. Brands hatch was awesome and Snederton was pretty decent. It was awesome, no side roads, no cars, and all you had to worry about was other idiots on the track. But one of the best times that I've ever had was at Deals Gap. Anybody wanna go. Me and some friends are heading that way again on the 5th of August. The last time I went I low sided my bike. I had my bike at close to full lean dragging my knee and the turn tightened up even more so I turned even tighter and the peg dug in hard. I lost all traction on the rear. The peg had already been dragging and I thought that it would slide up as designed but it didn't. Maybe because my tippie toes had all 220 pounds pushing them back down. The fact that I was power sliding the rear tire around half of the turns didn't help either. I had the slide going on during all of this somewhere too. Killboy.com does some pretty decent photos just in case you forget your camera. He will catch you in action though. Oh on deals gap you only need a bike that has 2nd gear nothing else.
