I got a chance to put in a few miles today in spite of this cold ass weather.

Acceleration
I'll start off by saying. WOW! Awesome motor. Quote me on this. This thing pulls harder than my old GSX-R1000 below 8000rpm and below. I was amazed at how hard this thing pulled. 4000 rpm in like 2nd gear was 80mph

Top End
Due to break in, I was unable to test the top end.

Handling
Flicked side to side with ease. It felt like a 600. Particularly an R6, but without the twitchyness. This bike just wants to lean. Even when you put it down on a kickstand it just keeps falling over. kept feeling like I didn't put the kickstand down even when it was.

Ergonomics
This bike is so narrow. I couldn't get comfortable as of yet but I'm working on it. I couldn't get fully tucked. Tried putting my ass on the rear as Stuna usually suggests but still had trouble. My wrists ached a little but that is due to me not riding since september.

Clutch
Boy did I abuse the clutch. Never ridden a dry clutch before. But by the time I got back to queens I had it figured out. I stalled 3 times today.

Attention
I pulled up at crossbay and everyone dropped what they were doing to come outside to see it. I guess that's only the beginning.

Can't wait for the warm weather!!!!!

Gotta say it must suck buying that thing and having cold weather to deal with. I got out this weekend to 70 degree weather both days and rode both days.
Well it shouldnt be much longer for the warmer to hit you too. Look forward to the picts. 8)

That's awesome man....

that clutch does take a little getting used too, I had my friends Duc 916 for a day, and I stalled it a bunch of times too...

But then I said "hey it's not mike bike...." And every start after that was like a drag start.... he he he

Once you get settled in you will find that comfort spot.

A little chilly today but brought her out again. After 140mph, she runs out of breath. That's when the Gixxer would come alive.

But it's okay, It's all rider anyway.

Just sit tight Stunyboy. When I throw the 999R cams in and get that full system, she'll be a fire breathing dragon. I got a whole Ducati Performance Catalogue to mess around with.

I would copp that but that needs to be hooked up to the phone lines. I need a wireless system. Let me know if you know a good wireless system.

Also, Surveilance won't stop them from taking your bike. Near my job somebody got their bike stolen and they were on camera. They got caught only because the license plate got caught on camera. They were dumb theives. If it weren't for that, they would still have gotten away.

I also got them so I can keep a eye on my shit while watching TV or if my dogs start barking I dont have to get up and run around to see if someone is in my yard or coming up my driveway or what cars are infront of my house..ect..Im getting the digital recorder soon..plus a few signs up to let people know there being watched..every little bit helps..
