HAYDEN WINS US GP

If Rossi knew the track better it would of been Rossi, he only had 4 hours on the track. Now we'll see what Nicky can do when they go back to Europe

Great race, I was surprised when Colin Edwards passed Rossi, he ran a great race, but couldn't catch that Repsol :D

they were saying Nikki had the same total track time as Rossi this was a first on it for him too

It *almost* looked like Rossi threw the race for Edwards, but NOBODY touched Nicky all weekend.

No Nicky has been o the track before when he raced in the ama and he won the championship in 02 and that track is every year in the ama rouds and so has Colin Edwards I think it was 02 when he won. The americans and only other rider has every been on that track. I think they said that was Caporossi on a 250 like 11 or 12 yrs ago.

Ya did some checking Nicky won his first ama national on a 750 when he was 16. So hes been at that track since then.

Everyone keeps saying that Rossi would have won if he had known the track better and Nicky only won cause he knew the track. How about if Nicki had grown up on European tracks like Rossi and the other guys, maybe he would win more often. He spanked in that race, left everyone 2 seconds behind the whole time. Its unfair that he is so picked on when he is consistantly up there with the top european riders on tracks he has not had the priveledge of riding for so many years.

If he had won by the skin of his teeth, ok, maybe question it, but stop robbing the guy of his victory by saying he had an unfair advantage. BY that rationale, he always has an unfair disadvantage.

I was happy to Nicky win, I wish Rossi had won only cause I have been following him since his 125 CC days but the fact that Nicky won is great for everyone.

It was great for him, He needed a win I think he will be a little more focused on his game. Its great for the US fans to have a US rider win at home. And its great because it means that the race will be back again next year at Laguna Seca, so maybe if you have a year to save up you can go to the race and I will meet you there and kick your ass for the euro fag comment Biatch. LOL :)

LOL medic your to funny... the only running I was doing was for my truck, There was no fucking way i was going to stick around for all the dick sucking, It took me 45 mins to get out of there at 3:00 my other buddy left at 5 and he said it took him hours just to get out of the parking lots.

As for bring my bike next year.. no way I love my forks and I want to keep them. (i have been hunting for a set for you, When i find a set i will email yeah and see if you want um, If i find any)

Ya Nicky is a good rider(I meet him in 02 at mid-ohio and we talked for an hour or so) but he will never be as good as Rossi. If you watch faster2 they all say that Rossi is on the line that they wish they could be. :wink:
and Hayden has been over there for the past 3 yrs so he should know some of the tracks by now.

im tired of hearing stuff like this. Lets just think about something...

Vale is no doubt #1 in the world, likely EVER. we all know he can win at any track. That said, Nicky has raced laguna a number of times. This number doesnt begin to compare to the number of times vale and the other european racers that came from 125 and 250 into the GP500/MotoGP class.

For nicky to go to europe and everywhere else GP went in 2003 and walk away 5th in points with a couple 3rd place podiums after seeing these tracks for the first time ever, is every bit as impressive to me as Vale seeing Laguna for the first time and getting 3rd.

Take rossi to every track hayden grew up racing and see the outcome. I'm sure hayden will have a field day with them.

Im not saying vale wont win any, im just saying that when people say vale woulda won if he knew the track, they should consider that nicky has finished as good as vale did in the USGP on Vales turf.
