I have read numerous articles about hoe the 1000RR is the perfect package and if any mods are made, it throws off the balance of the bike, weight wise. Is this true?

LOL....let some other guys get one first Six :D but i doubt you're gonna throw anything off if you do some upgrades like you would on any other bike. just be sure to throw that mud flap

then again....i don't have one so i can't say 100%

haven't even sat on one????? go to the dealership and do yourself a favor!!! it is soooo comfortable and ultra sexy ... when i test drove one before buying mine i thought it handled more like a 600 than an extremely (26lbs) overweight 1000 but hey thats just my opinion i could be wrong.
