and drive it home
Stuna,
Let me call Crossbay for you. PM me your cell number. Let me see if I can save you $$$.
Especially If you plan on paying cash.
Or, if you give me the money, I'll buy it in my name at dealer cost and we'll transfer everything over to you later.
Or, if you give me the money, I'll buy it in my name at dealer cost and we'll transfer everything over to you later.
Or I can say that it's my bike but I'm putting everything in your name. Let's talk.
But then again, I don't know if I like you that much to do you any favors.
PM me if you want to know what dealer cost is on the bike. I won't post it publicly.
I will say that the NY Honda price you got is dealer cost plus freight. That can't be an out the door price with tax, reg, etc.
Truck 04-02-2004, 03:18 PM Yea stunna go ahead put it in turbos name :D then turbo has a new bike to show off courtasy of King Stunna :!:
Da1000RRStuna 04-02-2004, 03:55 PM hahaha..Turbo Sal cant stand me,I go in there and I allways try to low ball him,his #'s never make me happy then I have to pull up on a bike that I got some place else for cheaper and he gets mad..I didnt get that #,my friend got it and told me the # Sal gave him so im assuming ill get it for that price also..call them up and see what # he gives you but dont say its for me,not that he doesnt like me,i never did anything to him, just that i never picked up a bike from and i allway throw my #'s in his face,i can tell he gets pissed.plus he would be stupid not to hook me up with a good # i got a following..King Cycles sold about five 954 because of me..
Da1000RRStuna 04-02-2004, 03:56 PM and yeah I got CASH !!!!!!!!!! crispy brand new 100 dolla bills :D
Da1000RRStuna 04-02-2004, 03:58 PM NY honda $9900 plus tax and plates..but ill have to wait till June..
I dont give a fuck ill drive 4 hours to save $500..ill use that cash towards a pipe..
theJrod 04-02-2004, 04:06 PM MSRP is 10999
Cost (invoice) is 9479
Dealers get a $500 holdback in addition, not to mention all the other incentives, rebates, bonues, etc. $9479 is actually a good deal higher than what the dealer really pays. Even the salesmen don't know what the real cost is on the bike, they only know invoice price.
That said, this early in the season, pretty much any decent amount under MSRP is a good price, IMO. In my state, nobody will come down from MSRP for the first few bikes. Only reason I was able to get better was because I used to work for the dealer.
4passin 04-02-2004, 04:38 PM see what Turbo can do... if not pack the helmet call a boy and take a ride...
done deal...
cbrjimmy1KRR 04-02-2004, 04:38 PM I got a price for $9700 plus $836 NY tax..total out the door with plate $10,600 otd w/plates about 3 hour drive
i think you have it figured out stuna...no waiting and a decent price
Or, if you give me the money, I'll buy it in my name at dealer cost and we'll transfer everything over to you later.
and i guess that's how turbo REALLY plans on getting his free 1000RR :P
Da1000RRStuna 04-02-2004, 04:50 PM 4 hours there and 4 hours back plus the time it take to do all the paper work, gas $ and tolls, breakfast, lunch and dinner  and all adds up..
if I can get it for $9900 or even $10000 plus the tax and plate of course ill just buy it in my area and save my time..we'll see i got a few days, the dude 4 hours away said Thursday we can come and get them..yeah thats right "them" and "we",more then one!!! hahahaha..
makes sense?
cbrjimmy1KRR 04-02-2004, 05:24 PM damn son!!! you're talking about those "crisp all those crisp $100 bills" you have and you're gonna complain about what food costs???? :P
anyway....i plan to make a pretty good drive when i start shopping.....the dealership around here think the have it wrapped up and if you can save some serious coin with some driving.....i'd do it....ya know?
Da1000RRStuna 04-02-2004, 05:43 PM im saying, its not the food, tolls or gas but its going throught all that to save a few dollars its just not worth it making the 8 hour round trip if I can get a good # in my area..if not ill make the trip to save $500.. :D

Stuna,
I think I can match PA's $10,800 out the door. I can't beat $10,600. That's damn good for this time of the year.
Fuck Sal. I deal with Mike only. I'm going tomorrow morning so I'll post and let you know what they have available and when they're getting more if they don't have any there. I heard one went out today.

Mladin is kicking ass!!!! Eric Bostrom in second on the 999. Duhamel and Zemke 25 seconds back on the Hondas. Ben crashes. What's wrong, can they not run Mladin's pace? Mladin's bike is clearly down on power and he is wiping the floor with these guys.
The other guys are only going to be competitive at the tracks with really long straights like brainerd, road america. etc.

WTF DOOD, thanks for the spoilers. some of us watch the races broadcast on speedtv :x
4passin 04-06-2004, 06:06 PM Stunna, Call Freehold Honda in NJ, they are off exit 11 down Route 9.
732-462-4881 and ask for "Mills". Tell him Harris sent you, and talk your talk, and maybe he will be able to hook you up. He mentioned they should be getting 40 RR's soon... not sure how believable that is though...and not sure how much they can discount but it's worth a shot.
If anyone else wants to do the same feel free.... Mills is a cool guy, had 3 friends pic up bikes off of him.
Anonymous 04-07-2004, 11:14 AM I think all those prices are outrageous I am going to wait untill the dealers come down from their high horse before I go in with cash...
