That track looks nice and clean.
I gotta make my way over to Illinois to check out Autobahn
resuscit8u 08-16-2005, 07:27 AM This is a vid from a slow session, it was a heat index of 115, and my fast laps were already used up for the day, but it gives a good layout of Blackhawk

Seems like a nice flowing track.
Kind of short though.
resuscit8u 08-16-2005, 07:40 AM 1.9 miles, very technical
Double R 08-16-2005, 07:55 AM Nice resus, how many track days have you done this year? I am still kicking myself for not ever doing one, this summer has been hectic.
resuscit8u 08-16-2005, 08:54 AM 6 NESBA, 1 Private Track Time.
2 more Private Track Time coming up, and 1 more NESBA minimum
1WHEELMAX 08-16-2005, 09:08 AM nice pics res.
I've done the following:
2 with Sport Bike Track Time -- Grattan Raceway
1 with Champion Sportbike Club -- Pocono East
1 with NYSBC -- Pocono East
1 with Team ProMotion -- Pocono FUSA
I have 1 more in Sept. probably the 30th at East Course with NYSBC, and probably 1 more with Team ProMotion at Summit Pt. Main which is already paid for due to my class being cancelled last week.
Next year I'm definately hitting a few more tracks. Barber, Mid Ohio, Grattan again, VIR and so on. I'm going to drag my wife everywhere. lol
By-Tor 08-16-2005, 10:22 AM Hey Resus, please send me those knee pucks so I can scrub them in real good for ya

I have had many offers like that, I prefer to earn it. Hehehehehe
I have a little bitty mark on the left one, totally accidental drag on the curbing in turn 4, but it was cool. My next area of focus is to get off the bike more and pick up the pace. I had been focusing on smooth and fast in order to get bumped to Intermediate, which I did.
In this pic, for example, I was going as fast as it was possible in the body position I was in, but I was smooth, and, nuking the Duc guy. This is Turn 4 at BHF. If I were hanging off some more, i know I would have been dragging knee and going faster. I know I need to drop my head and inside shoulder too.

yes sir they are. one RA and the rest BHF
I want to try Brainerd, Putnam, and VIR next year in addition to a dozen or so local track days.
Jim, take the 31st off and come to the PTT day at BHF, even if just to spectate
gntbldr 08-16-2005, 02:48 PM I have no more time off for the rest of the year. I am possibly taking off on the 30'th to move again but just down the road. that'd be unpaid time off too...
I am definately thinking of hitting up Putnam at the end of SEPT. this year for www.cycleoptions.com trackday. it's $20 more than last year but that track is wicked fun in a few spots. :D

I did my first track day there earlier this season. We did the full course and it was the shit!!!. The track is only a year or two old so it is in great shape. I'm not sure how it compares to other tracks but it was the best time I have ever had.
If you do get out there, try to get a day when the whole track is opened up.
