Mladin is kicking ass!!!! Eric Bostrom in second on the 999. Duhamel and Zemke 25 seconds back on the Hondas. Ben crashes. What's wrong, can they not run Mladin's pace? Mladin's bike is clearly down on power and he is wiping the floor with these guys.
The other guys are only going to be competitive at the tracks with really long straights like brainerd, road america. etc.

the cbr1k is new....it takes time
mladin is in his prime and has been on the g1k for years
eboz is new on his machine, but he's an awesome rider and that duck is strong....they have alot to prove in america :wink:
i've never been a fan of ben bostrom, good rider he may be, i think he's overrated
as much as i like migey d, he is past his prime and is cruising on experience...and i only think he's out there, this year, to show zemke around and teach him some tricks.....jake will come around....he rides hard

Yeah, I like Jake Zemke. I think that Eric willl be the only one challenging for the title this year though. The new bike excuse is bs. Mat had three tire failures last year and a new bike and still dominated. Honda just needs a good rider. Why won't they let Anthony Gobert run SBK???

i agree.....to a point ....like i said...i was giving excuses :P that type bike is uncharted territory for honda. and i think they made a mistake with that hydraulic clutch. but the main thing they are missing right now is talent.
