it's an RF-1000 and I got it at the local Honda dealer ,Rob's Performance, for $430.
The new CX-1V Spectra visor was $55 (silver visor)

Awesome airflow compared to my Arai Signet

both my Arai and my new Shoei are larges but the Arai fits more snug so I got some one step larger cheek pads for the Shoei. Picking them up tomorrow and I'll report what I find.

Bugger's pretty light too. Switching visors is a snap compared to my Arai too.
Don't know about fogging because I haven't worn it for my commute to work yet. but my Arai went through some fogging last night. man was it a cold one on the way home.

$430 bucks......and it still holds the brains in just as good as a $50 dollar helmet, lol

lol, but at a fraction of the weight and better airflow, stronger construction, easier to get parts for and easier to switch them over.. do a search for "lifers post up your injuries" and you'll see I need all the help I can get. since then (when I made up that post) I have gone through another concusion or two along with some other injuries.
If it weren't for them reasons I might have just got the cheapie like I used to when I was 16. :)

I just got a Suomy, $410 with an extra smoke lens.

I wasn't going to get it as the KBC and HJC or whatever they are were only 250. I went to 3 dealers in one day and tried on every freakin helmet looking for someting comfortable with good ventilation. I seriously tried on over 45 helmets which don't sound like much, but my ears had rugburn (insert jokes here)...

Anyway, I think the stores should have a windtunnel as this helmet is noisy. My Shoei RF900 was super quiet, and if I had the face shield open it closed at 84mph, every dam time. The Suomy is lighter, but at least 1.5 lbs, and it ventilates great, you can feel the breeze on the top of your head, but it's freakin noisy... I also like the way you swap face shields on the Shoei better, quicker and easier, without ripping off the side peices on the helmet. All in all, this will be my last Suomey. I do like to support the local bike shops as I use them more than the web for some stuff, but I think next time, I'll try it on in the store and buy it off the web, I would have saved another 50 bucks or so, even though I got a great deal...

Dam, this is like a freakin book huh?

I put it on my Honda card along with my other gear and parts I got from the local dealer.
I did have my friends matte black rf1000 to try on before I got mine, so I ordered some thicker cheek pads for it and they are great. nice and snug like my old arai.
