How many times do you see 150+ mph on the street?

well with my klr... NEVER.
BUT!!! now that I am getting an 05 600rr it will be "Every Time I take it out!" :twisted:
and then next fall when I trade it in for the 1000 the answer will be "When don't I?"

I have "throttle control" issues.

I go over 150 only once a month or so. I rarely get my bike out on the highway and the roads I ride are 2nd and 3rd gear with short bursts into 4th.

Hav not been on a track that allowed me to get into 4th so mid 130's is all I've seen there.

You have not lived yet!!! I wish you could have made FUSA on the 12th with me. 150mph on the front straight and 165-170mph on the back straight. Plus, two technical infields.

I have my own personal FUSA in upstate NY. (I won't publish the rt # but you'll see it if you ever get your ass out for a Sunday ride with us :wink: ).


Yeah, FUSA is very high on my must-do list for next year. Things have been crazy as you know. Hoping next year will be better.

did 155 indicated on the CBR. she had TONS left. it was sickening. 160 indicated, or 144 true on my big magna. i go upwards of the ton sometimes, but over 150 i've only done twice. too much shit can happen at that speed. i'd rather take some sick twisties at 55mph anyday :D

last time somebody ask me to spank his butt on my bike it got kind of ugly cuz not only did i red line on 6th gear but i actually felt my bike get airborne more then once :eek: talk about scary?...that did it to me. The next time i ever do that i'm going to ask my Cop friend to meet me somewhere so he can clock the speed with the radar.

150 is ompossible on the roads I ride. The poll should be.... "How often do you do 2 or 3 times the posted limit?"

I don't go 150 (actual) very often. I probably go well over 100 on almost every ride, but almost every ride I take is on backroads (no city-only rides or commuting). Doing 150 is pretty much a 'top speed' run -- I like to do it once in a while on a couple nearby straightaways, but I'm more interested in staying in the twisty stuff.

northern state parkway. that's where i ran my Magna up to 144. gotta watch out for the stateys though

yeah breakin 100mph is no sweat at all....but after that, you seriously have to watch out, where i live. and those statey's are relentless in catching us, lol. i dont need any trouble from the man 8)

The first time I ever got my bike over 150 I got pulled over. Just my bad ass luck. I dont see much more than 130 now.
