HIDEOUS!!!!! But I bet that fucker is fast. lol
C420sailor 09-01-2005, 08:14 AM the headlights and exhaust are nasty. i was going to buy the 10R this year rather than my 1000, but it doesn't have enough mass. it's a tiny tiny bike, and i don't like that feeling.
They should have given it the same headlights as on the 636. In anycase, my options are open.
It should tract much better with the new swingarm. It may be a friendly bike.
MetalScorpio 09-01-2005, 10:08 AM the front end looks like the old 1997 Muzzy ZX7RR raptor bike. anybody here remember that bike?

Yeah, I remember that bike.
On another note, the new R6 revs to 17,500rpm. That sounds fun!!!
gntbldr 09-01-2005, 02:17 PM oooo, now that's fricken Wierd!
cbrjimmy1KRR 09-01-2005, 04:04 PM looks like a Cicada from the front. ugly and bulky tail end too. i don't like, but i bet it'll still haul major ass
By-Tor 09-01-2005, 08:30 PM I could care less about a bike's looks, can't see it when I'm riding it
Maybe that's why I don't wash my bike
Terry 09-06-2005, 07:02 AM Kinda looks like the swingarm & exhaust from the R1.
slodsm 09-06-2005, 09:23 AM Hands down the ugliest machine ever put out. I wouldn't be caught dead on it. I wish the manufacturer's would get off this undertail fad that is rolling right now. Looks like I will be going back to Suzuki next bike, they are the only ones keeping it where it should be.
C420sailor 09-06-2005, 10:46 AM i like the undertail exhausts...except this one. fugly. the zook sidecan is ugly as sin too. it needs a nice round can.
Truck 09-06-2005, 06:33 PM OK Kawi has officially come out of the closet
meatstick 09-07-2005, 06:42 AM Damn, the exhaust looks like portable fire extinguishers! That ruins the look of the bike.

Could always put a couple N.O.S stickers on them
exploited24 09-07-2005, 06:48 PM Makes you wonder how stiff the suspension mush be to keep the tire from hitting those fat ass cans.
Wheelie 09-07-2005, 06:50 PM Those cans wouldnt stay on mine for long! I think it will look really good with some chopping(aftermarket exhaust). weee
resuscit8u 09-07-2005, 06:59 PM I can envision a pair of Ti Muzzy's on it
By-Tor 09-07-2005, 08:26 PM Photoshop pic from ZX-10r.net.. Looks pretty sweet to me.

bolbo 09-09-2005, 06:28 PM The undertail thing going on these days with bikes, is the way it's going to be. Manufacturers are doing this because of the demand and cost savings, believe it or not, versus a single can setup traditionally put on sportsbikes. Get used to it, I say.

Big Daddy 09-10-2005, 07:46 AM The exhaust section looks like a pregnant elephant.

kawi's have never been pleasing to the eye....well my eye anyway...this new version continues my opinion.

Yeah, you are probably right but with more pipe, more cans, it all equals more weight and more bends for less power. I will find an alternative somewhere because I just can't help but think they are hideous and ruin the look of bikes.
Knucle01 09-15-2005, 01:28 PM i like the undertail exhausts....i think it gives a the bikes a more cleaner look.

amen. by less power we're tallking maybe 3 ponies. maybe. if you're a fast enough rider on the track to have 3 ponies making a difference, you're on the wrong bike. i like the clean look, my passengers enjoy not burning the shit out of their legs, and you don't have an extra 10+lbs sticking out on the right side. seems like a no-brainer to me. although it's ugly, the new R6 is the way to go for side-exhaust. the big gixxer got it WRONG.

thats the truth, maybe that designers for the big gixxxer dont like the undertail exhaust....but wtf were they thinking w/ that can?????
C420sailor 09-20-2005, 02:55 PM yeah bro. it'd look good with a normal cylinder can. that thing is an abortion.
