I just put the the Galfer Wave's on the bike. I broke them in like the instructions said to do. No real hard stops for the first 40 miles. Well does anybody else have these on their bike and do you think they feel different than stock rotors?
The reason I'm asking is I feel like they aren't as predictable when doing stoppies. With my stock rotors when I hit the brakes the ass end came right up. Now I don't have the same feeling. My brake lever is on setting 1 so maybe I'll play with the settings. I hope the breaks get better with time. The wife said it looked like my front wheel was locking up and skipping a little so maybe I'm on the breaks to hard. Damn, I was just learning how to do them to and now I feel like I have to teach myself again.

What pads did you use? Some pads are very grabby and don't have the linear power of the stock pads. Pads that are engineered with racing in mind are like light switches when it comes to getting the power on.

For shits and giggles you might want to throw the stock pads back in and see it that makes the rotors feel better to you.

If you do not have them already, try the HH pads. I have them and they stop you like right now. Very linear, very predictable. The factory pads are HH pads. A lot of people sell the Wave rotors with the Galfer Black pads in a package. Switch up to HH pads for better performance.

i run galfer blacks on the rear of my V65, greens up front. the greens have more bite over the blacks. great pads. running OEM on the CBR though.

My brake pads are Galfer HH pads. Here is the link http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?cart_id=3984412.58461&pid=498&count=1
It says on there not to use anything but Galfer pads or it voids the warranty of the rotors.
Medic I have the exact same setup as you. Do you notice any difference compared to the stock rotors and breaks?
