Hey guys, do you think it's necessary to buy a steering damper for commuting to and from work and for weekend riding. No wheelies or anything too crazy. Or use the $$ for smoke windscreen, flushmounts and other stuff. thanx

Yeah, I have to drive on the interstate to get to work and they have those huge dome looking things in the middle of the road to divide the lanes. Where is a good place to pick up an Ohlins? I checked ebay, but we all know ebay.... it's 50/50. thanx.

I have said this before but here it goes again. I am wondering how the HESD will work in relation to stoppies. I think that it may not be that great because in a stoppie your rear wheel is moving at 60 so the damper will be stiffer than nessacery for counter steering at 10 mph etc. What do you guys think

Well see but I think a scotts or olins will be a lot better for that. We will just have to wait and see what the boyz thinks that buys them 8)

We'll just have to wait untill someone gets one and tries it out. If it does affect stoppies, I wonder if you can remove it easily enough and mount an Ohlins or Scotts?

i'd say tap the rear brake :P

i'm not real sure the new RR is gonna be much of a stunt bike. loooong swingarm. maybe a good stoppie bike with all that weight forward now and those radial mounted brakes....somebody wanna let me give that a shot on their new bike? :D
