By-Tor 09-19-2005, 05:16 PM I love it! Doesn't matter if your bike is parked in the garage or being hauled to the track, it's always on some fluffy wall to wall carpeting
I followed your lead and I have carpet covering 1/3 of my garage now too
So you're lowering the rear and strapping the front?
Please tell me that the links will come out once you get back from the track :?
gntbldr 09-19-2005, 05:18 PM that oughta be a sight when you're all done. 8) just watch out for the clothes line, uhh I mean board!
some dude put his bike in the back of his van at Black hawk when I met up with resus back in August. real cool seeing that

LOL, carpet is the only way to go, yes the lowering stuff will come of after I give the Busa's a spanking. wee

$47 to my door, Brad gives great prices on almost everything, except the CRG levers, lol, those things are high! Spam a little, www.superbikesupply.com weee
1WHEELMAX 09-19-2005, 06:10 PM what width did you get?
the first one I bought wasn't wide enough and they said it would be.
my disks were closer that I liked so I order another one that was a little wider.
Wheelie 09-19-2005, 06:27 PM 6 1/2. wee
1WHEELMAX 09-19-2005, 06:36 PM how wide is your bike at the disks?
vt954 09-19-2005, 06:41 PM Looks good! I love the carpet... Too funny. I have used a full size van to get my bikes to the track a few times now. Works well. I'm waiting to find a cheap one in decent shape so I can stop using the rental vans. At least the rental guys give them to me free 8) Would be nice to have a real wheel chock though. I'll assume you have a nice arched ramp to get it in? My 954, stock height, will only fit with an arched ramp...
Good luck rockin those Busa's!
Wheelie 09-19-2005, 07:45 PM how wide is your bike at the disks?
Disc to disc is 5 1/2. wee
1WHEELMAX 09-19-2005, 09:08 PM cool I think that was the width of the first one I got "5 1/2 that is", I just wasn't sure until I went and measured it.
Wheelie 09-19-2005, 09:36 PM Im wondering how much arch will be enough? This one is 94" long. wee

By-Tor 09-19-2005, 10:40 PM My arched folding ramps are 7.5' long and I can get my friends GSXR600 into the bed of his F-350 with no problem.
I have used them to get Turbo's Duc and Nemisis' 1000RR into the back of E-350 vans too.
But you can't go wrong with longer ramps. I'll be buying some 100" arched ramps over the winter because the only way to get a bike in the back of my 2500HD with 6" lift and 35's is to ramp off my trailer or park the back tires of the truck in a ditch.
Do yourself a favor and get a folding ramp though.
