Well guys,

It looks like it's gonna be Grattan. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make it one day or a double header. Double header means that I will have to put upwards of $5,000 up front.

I'm going to allow up to 50 people. I'm guessing that I'm going to charge $75 to $100 a head. I haven't decided yet.

I'm going to allow 2 30 min. sessions every hour, so plenty of tracktime!!!! Sessions will be broken up into intermediate and advanced.

Resus, Nicky310, GNT, do you guys think you can make it.

You guys on the East Coast should try and make a long weekend out of it. It will be well worth the drive. It's only 13hours. I did the drive both ways by myself this year. It'll be fun if we get a group to go together.

I'll arrange for Camping at the track. I'm going to call STT and get them to sponsor it. My motor guy and his staff will probably be there.

Here's the only thing....

The event is most likely going to land on weekdays. Either Mon/ Tues or Thurs/Friday. That may pose an issue for a lot of people. The difference in pricing for weekdays is Thousands cheaper than weekend days.

I'm hoping to get a good turnout. If I can get at least 20 guys to commit to coming, then it will definately be on.

I work 24 on and 72 off. Not an issue.

The straightaway is 3,000 feet. More elevation changes than VIR.

It's like in the middle of michigan, all the way to the west near the water.

When you watch the vid, look ahead of the bike in front so you can get a fee for the elevation changes. Look at the background in turn 3. It's crazy.

Why only 2 (20) minute sessions an hour? I think it would be losing a lot of time. With only 50 people why not have an open day all day or at least half a day. You are never going to have all 50 on the track (except in the 1st morning session maybe). Just have rules on passing.

Warning: Just the ramblings of an individual who has never organized a track day.

It's OK Nemisis, I know it's late and you probably had a long day

off topic: Nemisis, I didn't find any bikes worth looking at over at my local dealer and stuff in the trader was way overpriced. Guys are trying to sell 03' 600RR's for only $1000 less than a new 05'

I'll keep looking.

Thanks but I am going to buy the bike I was going to buy but $200 cheaper. The guy brung it home and the wife said no. When he told me the wife said no I just laughed. Will be up in CT next Saturday picking it up.
