hey guys, im about to change the oil in my 02 954 the bike has 950 miles on it. i was wondering if i can use castrol GTX 20/50 because it doesnt contain any friction modifiers or should i stay with the honda GN4 20/50 that i used last time or do do you think i should use on of motul synthetic oils. thanks for the help

poor that shit in and go..just change it every 1000 miles..if you beat the balls off it change it at 500 miles :wink:
no sense spending the extra $ on honda oil when the GTX works great..

:D hey thanks for the reply, i just got back from wal-mart and bought 4 quarts of castrol GTX 20W-50 it was $1.66 per quart. i saved alot of money considering what the stealership wants for '' motorcycle oil ''.

just change it alot sooner to be save..at $1.68 you can afford it :D

Just make sure whatever oil you use it meets all requirements of the manufacture, I like the full Synthetic myself, the bike runs cooler and shifts better.
This is great oil and filters
