Buy a 1000RR and stop wasting money on useless crap,no need for 2 1k's and crappy italian bikes. For the gsxr,the new model is due next year no need to shovel cash in a bike that'll drop in value seriously when the new one is out.

P.s if you really want a 2nd bike get a 2001 and up gsxr 600 that's allready track prepped.

Smokin Joe, you give good advice. I'll buy a race ready 600 or 750 for about $4000 and get a new 1000. I really did like the 999 though.

It took a lot of getting used to people filming me and snapping pictures of me with their cell phones when pulling up next to me in their cars. I was a superstar for a week. :D

My 954, I bought wrecked with a salvaged title. The guy that wrecked it his dad was the insurance adjuster and totaled it for about a thousand dollars of damage on the fairings. The worst thing that was wrong with it was a warped front rotor. So I bought an 02 with 2018 miles on it for 5,800.00. I dobt that they are gonna total a duck with fairing damage anyway. unless you know the adjustor youreself and got an inside track :!:

I noticed the front wheel was touching the radiator. I didn't notice that before. Something is definately out of place. The motor is fine, the wheels are fine, the subframe, swingarm, tank triple clamp is fine. But the subject in question is the front end. Insurance companies won't chance it if there is a hint of frame damage no matter how the rest of the bike looks.

Yea if the forks are bent with the other damage you may be right. It really does depend on the adjuster you get. However youre not without weight here. If you push them to total it out for safety reasons and have a good lawyer you probably are looking at a payoff. 8)

I don't think they will total your bike, i think they'll give you money for damages... i think you'd get more if you went with a lawsuit against the driver... but i'm not really all about lawyers and lawsuits... so... :roll:

If it isn't totaled, and they fix it and you don't feel good about it... give stunna a call and you can collect on another theft... ebay bitch...
