As you all know, I crashed last week.

I bumped my head in the process. I have to rate my RF-1000 a 6.5 on a scale of 10.

I'm not happy with the noise reduction.

I'm not happy with the ventilation.

And after my accident which landed on a Friday, I had a headache all the way until Sunday.

Personally, I would not pay the MSRP for this helmet which is around $400. But if you can get a deal on it for around $200-$250, then I guess it's a decent helmet.

Also note, that when I crashed, the visor popped open. You can see it if you look at my tumbling pics that I posted.

I may be switching to Suomy in the future.

I still love my arai signet to no end, tried the rf-100 and am not sold on it like I am my arai. still wanting to try something better than my signet gt...

I used to take Jujuitsu and we used to train our limbs and joints to be extremely flexible. If I were to put you in an ankle lock every single day, your joint would twist all the way backwards and not break in a just matter of months.

I love my Arai RX7. Noisy but great ventilation, fits like a glove, and the visor has a locking device.

I have the Arai Astral but I was switching to the X-11. I don't like the way the Arai catches the air over 140.

Did you get the new Hodgson Suomy with the Bullseye on it? I'm liking that one. It matches my new leathers. 8)
