took some 3/8ths hose and cut up some small pieces
grabbed some washers
some 8x10 metric phillips screws
and painted it all

I think I may try the bar-end mirrors & maybe add the "pig-spotters"

The cops dont bother me i just know too many people that have been ran over even a guy smashed in the rear doing 55 mph. Ill keep mine thanks :wink:

yeah, I'm pretty much seting up for the track. rode for a couple days without them and it's alright and all but I've got some ideas for some fairing stay/mirror brackets I'm going to try and rig up out of aluminum. Sortof like a tribal boomerang that a small oval mirror attaches to at the angle part. one end of the boomerang goes on the mirror mounts, the other to the top windscreen mount.
ALso was considering the bar end mirrors. I've seen some better looking and smaller ones then what you show medic. I'll have to search up for them.
How much for them goofy ones?

was going east on CI and getting ready to turn left on Z by this one little church near Eagle WI.

Well, I came in warm and hung off the seat just a little whle my brother played a small game of catch up but he was the one that noticed the light rack hiding in the corn field entrance, not me.

The Sheriff pulled out behind him as he made the turn. After the turn is a two filed stretch before the next driveway so I do a small check behind me and my brother is just getting done making his turn. Not able to see the sheriff due to him being blinded out by the church he's turning past.
I giver. Pulled off a two gear sit-down and wasn't satisfied. So I stood on up and gaver again in 2nd with a bob,rev,slip-o-the clutch and stood it up for another two gear wheelie but now it's a standup.
Set the front down about 200ft before the 1st driveway after the fileds.
and about 5 seconds later I turn around and look back.
DOH!. Sheriff 300 yrds behind my bro. Look again a second later now he's right behind my bro, lights still off, get past the second driveway I saw and looked back and nodded my head to the sheriff, looked forward to secure a safe stop, looked back lights now on. I pull over.
Waukesha county Sheriff pulls up next to me and does his best to keep professional and says to me... "Don't get too fancy out there now. I don't want to be scraping you up off the road later."

I said "no sir. Thanks. Glad you understood my judgement call of nothing and noone being around. Thank you. I'll take it easy, man. Thanks."

and he drove away.

those pig spotters are ugly. and for guys like me who don't live on the tank, i'd get a good shot of my chest.

mirrors are a must. too many of my buddies have gotten mowed down from behind at traffic lights. i got tapped once too...people can't fucking drive.

hahahahaha!!!!!!!! gnt, I do the same washer trick everytime I track prep my bike. When I met Nemisis at the track earlier in the year, his bike was not prepped yet. Lucky for him I had a few extra mirror blockoffs (read washers :lol: ) for him :wink:

I replaced my factory mirror bolts with stainless steel ones because the factory ones are very soft and prone to stripping. Don't ask me how I know this :oops:
