Mosmak, gntbldr, and I went for a ride today. The temp was decent and the colors are changing well here so we went for a roll through the country with a couple of spirited bursts here and there for good measure, and rode within the spirit of the speed limits.......ok, maybe not that slow, but we did take time to enjoy the scenery.

We were riding through a National Forest and there may have been a spot or two where we might have been a little less than discreet with our riding, so when we stopped for a bit at this station, there was a little mild panic when this guy drove up and parked next to us.

He left us alone, and we continued on, this time to hit some higher speed, straighter roads peppered with a few sweepers so we could let the literbikes breathe a little. After that we stopped by the Lake for a few pics.

A good friend of mine, an AMA Racer (number 723) was nicknamed Catfish (was also his username on our local forum).

He was killed in a streetbike accident this year, and I have that on my bike as a memorial to him. I also have a white shamrock with 723 on the tailsection, as he was Irish and very proud of it.

even though nothing was really on today it was, I had again, another kick ass ride with you guys. nice little scare or two and even the bicyclist, the horses, the ladies jumping out into the middle of the road right as you exit a turn, yeah, great day for riding. hahaha
serious though. I had a great ride and time.
no, no shots of big Jim today, woulda been a good day for them too. I did get only three shots in before we all sat inside watched cycle vids and shot the shit...

and if I hadn't have been chatting with Lisa about pampered chef stuff I'd have gotten a picture of resus in his leathers with mosmak trying to help him get the pocket bike started right after the surfing escapade.. lol!!! :hehe: all to piss off the goofy neighbor I named oscar... :lol:

wondering if you got any of the lil shitty wheelies I did on tape...?... even those weren't on today but I still had fun doing them, and when Mark and I teamed up on them at times they'd be Really cool if we worked on the timing of them between the two bikes...

I truely may not be able to wait too much longer to get that dig cam, ., , .,,.,, maybe wait for the christmas specials...

the video is still saving in raw form right now, I am trying for really high quality. I think I got a lot of your wheelies though. I should have gotten on the other side of those jumps with the still cam and gotten some Isle of Man shots.

Battery is dead on the pocketbike and I have the carb set for the best power, but it makes it hard to start cold, and there is no choke, just an open velocity stack.

yeah, it has electric and pull start, but the battery is too dead to start it right now. I will get it charged up soon. It has no alternator, battery just runs the starter and the lights and horn.
