Arrow MotoGP Exhaust from Lockhart Phillips USA ~ Straight from the Paddock

Once upon a time, all sportbikes had boring, side-mounted mufflers. Now, in the name of racebike styling, some exhausts appear to be toaster-like, underseat hotboxes. Others come in pairs of menacing, undertail bazookas. This year’s latest pipe trend is peek-a-boo, shorty mufflers.

Arrow Special Parts' unique-sounding, dual-muffler MotoGP system is a dynamic combination of these fresh designs. Developed on Honda’s ferocious V-5, the MotoGP world-championship-winning RC211V, Arrow’s MotoGP system brings current Grand Prix race technology and high fashion to CBR1000RR and CBR6000RR road rockets.

Based on Arrow’s Race-Tech series of exhausts, the MotoGP system features tapered, stainless-steel header pipes that are beautifully T.I.G. welded and mounted with CNC-machined fixtures. The pair of small, conical, tapered mufflers—one peeking out from under the passenger seat, the other a low-mount, radically upswept design on the right side—are crafted from lightweight, high-grade titanium and feature distinctive, formed end caps that evoke a straight-from-the-paddock look and emit a distinctive bark.

Designed with expertise gained in winning 18 world titles—from Eddie Lawson’s 500 Grand Prix run in 1988 to the 2005 World Superbike and World Supersport championships—Arrow’s complete $1430 MotoGP exhaust system (which also comes as an $800 slip-on for the ’03-’04 600RR) and 100 other Arrow pipes for Japanese and Italian sportbikes are now available at more than 4000 Lockhart Phillips USA dealers nationwide.

I'd personaly like to hear one of them, if it sounded cool enough and actually gave a benifit that I'd be able to use I might consider it.
other than that I think it's butt ugly. imo.

worked on a 600RR this year that had an arrow motogp setup. but the cans were a little larger. didn't really notice a difference in sound, even on the test ride. and it looked ass ugly.

If you look at the GP bikes, and the current Yamaha and Suzuki offerings, you'll see the pipe coming out underneath or a straighter path than undertail. May be the thing of the future... Gasses need a straight path, I wonder if they'll be able to keep it quiet though...

FYI, I hated the '05 Gixxer 1k pipe but don't mind the '06 600 pipe.

I would like the pipe if they had that long a$$ braket made in the back of the peg or something better looking.
