Jim,

Personally, I wouldn't even get a 1000RR if I were you. The 600RR handles better, is much lighter and you could take 2Gs and build that motor to 130hp easily.

You would put a serious beatdown on a lot of sleepers.

I wouldn't mind keeping the 6 and getting the 1

the thing about the 6 is it's waiting to be a mini 954 and that'd be nice but I'll still end up clutching it up over some of my favorite hills to ride one wheel down the back,,, and the other bummer is I can't hit my 165mph wheelie hills and power over them at all. I'm missing out on a shitload of my fun backroads without the power and knowing what I can do and just don't have the power for is like having a your Vida sitting naked on your bed and you have stripper rules to contend to. I need more!

I'll be gutting the exhaust as soon as my parts come in to fix my klr and I know I'll get a nice chunk of useable power but even then I know it won't be enough for the street.... on the track it willbe though

the HRC transmission kit...what does that do exactly? bring the ratios closer together? make them all taller? shorter? what?

only place in the USA that deals in selling HRC parts that I was able to find...

I'm getting a hold of them for prices on cam kits soon.

So your keeping the 600. are you getting a 06 1000 to?

either way when we meet up we need to trade and see the difference, 600 vs 1000
or 1000 vs 1000.

if I can swing getting the 1krr come late next season I might.

bvut this 6 will be a handfull when I am done with it since I can't have my 1krr right now I'm turning this .6krr into a real mind blower (imo)

I've went back and forth a thousand times about getting that new r6, I think it will be a monster for a 600. I just don't know how much I will miss that power of a liter bike.

there's no doubt a 600 is more bike than I could ever use to its full potential but that power is nice.

I hear ya. I will say it has the power to pacify and at many of most times to satisfy also but there comes a time here and there, that you sit there and all you can do is remeber.

it feels just like it feels like when you are driving the cage and are on the bike in your mind,

it's exactly like that when those times come
when you're on the 6er and you wish it was the 1krr...

but then you smile softly and think of all the other kinds of fun the lil bugger's giving you and you fell ok.
