: Is there a harness difference 02 to 03???

I have a 2003, and I ordered some aftermarket flush mount front turn signals. I went to swap out the signals and the aftermarket had the wrong end connectors. The aftermarket signals have large copper bullets on the end, which their manufacturer says is factory. I looked in an 02-03 service manual and the manual shows bullet connectors on the signals as well. My harness and signals however have a 2 or 3 pin (I don't remember which at the moment) baby blue block connector. I'm guess this was a harness change made from the 2002 to the 2003 model. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone know what the OEM part number is for the signal side end connector?
Thanks

fontie,
from my knowledge there is no part number just for the connector. it is part of the signal or part of the harness. also to my knowledge the 02 and 03 use the same harness.

you can double check this at
www.ronayers.com

when I had my 954 I just spliced into the harness wires

for the front and rear the harness wires are:

Left:
black is ground
orange is the directional
orange and white is the running lights

right:
black is ground
light blue is the directional
light blue and white is the running light

for the rear

left:
green is ground
orange is the directional

right:
green is ground
light blue is the directional.

Lockhart Phillips makes connectors to adapt the bullet connectors to the factory pin style.

I'm sure Brad at www.superbikesupply.com can get whatever is needed to make the connections.

I used the LP connectors on the back of my 954 but I think I spliced the fronts. Can't exactly remember why.
