hey guys. well im getting a new helmet to match my RR and there are three different models i've been eying .Either arai-rx-7, X eleven, or RF-1000, both Shoei.. wondering if you guys have heard any good reviews or know from personal experience.. thanks a lot.. right now i have a HJC CS-12 Von Breaker and needless to say it's pretty worthless, or at least nothing too great, so i kinda want an upgrade. :D

all great lids. go try them all on before you decide. I'd go arai if it were me, but really you should test them yourself for comfort.

thats why im just gunna go with solid black athough i bet the edwards black/white/and gray would look good with a black RR

cant go wrong with a black helmet or black/silver.

arai has some of the best numbers tehy actually rate the helmets on impact resistance and such, im not saying they arent, im saying buy based upon protection thats what its for, thats why i have 4 arai helmets

The nicky haden replica is about that now it was around a grand when it first came out. :wink: Come to think of it, it might even be less now.

Just get snell 2000 approved and its guarenteed a good lid.

Seriously go try them on, they all fit differently.

I wanted the Arai helemt you speak of, found it on close out for like $300 2 years ago.
At the advice of a friend I went and tried it on at a local shop- within 2 minutes I relaized it just wasnt' for the sahpe of my head.

After trying all of Arai's line up and Shoei's, I chose a Shoei Z II Scythe. It fit very well, and looks great.

I bought my girlfriend the Arai Quantum F in matching colors for my bike too (same as the Rx7rr4 graphics). It fit her head better then mine. I do alternate helmets but not often as the Shoei is a better fit all around for me.
