Just installed a carbon fiber Devil High Mount 1/2 system. took 25 minutes to install at my shop. Fit was great, looks are killer and the sound makes me want to close up early and go for a ride. Thanks to the people at Devil Bikes for such great customer service and speedy delivery. Highly recomend this company to anyone. :)

By-Tor I was considering devil for a pipe. What are the pro's and con's of the pipe like did you loose any power in your mid RPM or anything like that. I Don't like the look of just a slip/bolt on pipe, but at the same time don't want to do away with the HTEV just as of yet and the Devil 1/2 system would be perfect. Where did you get it?? Thanx.

I meant the 3/4 system

Both the 1/2 and 3/4 system use the same can and mounting pipe. the difference is the1/2 system requires you to cut the factory pipe just before the "Y" and the 3/4 system comes with the $150 pipe from the HTEV to the mounting pipe. Did a lot of riding this weekend and dont feel any loss of power anywhere. at the same time I cant report of any significant power increase. The bike sounds incredible in any RPM range and the pipe is light. I bought the pipe directly from Devil Bikes ( devilbikes.com). give them a call and remember to let them know that you are a member of 1000rr.com.

By-Tor do you think it would be beneficial to now purchase and install a Power Commander along with the slip on? Would the PC give you any HP increase?

I'll try to take some pictires this weekend and have my wife post them for me ( I suck at this computer shit). As far as the PC goes Chico, I think that if you are going for maximum hp then you would be happier going with a full system and the PC. A 600rr would have all the balls that I need where I do my riding, (tight and twisty), but I got such a great deal on my 954 that I had to go for it. $8600 last year for an 02' left over.
