yo fellas whats the average life of stock brake pads on 954, i got 2700 miles on my bike and id say im an average user on the brakes (dont do to much hard braking)

wondering if i have 50 percent life left on them for a track day coming up

i ride my shit hard but that means i only brake hard but infrequently, i dont know how this effects brake pad life compared to pussyfooting around like most of you fruits, but ive got almost 7000 on mine, and im just starting to feel a noticable amount of wear, i mean im sure they would last plenty long, but ima replkace them soon anyhow, you should have a while left, depends on how much you use them obviously

id like to wire up my levers so when you engage them it records for how long at what speeds, then you could actually tell, thatd be tight, i gotta wire everything else up anyhow

got 3 grand saved so far, once i hit 5, startin to build up the 954, cant wait

Look at the pads. Are they worn past the indicators? If they are replace em.

With only 2700 miles, you should have plenty of life left.
