I have a customer of mine that bought some led blinkers for his 03 954. He removed the stock ones and wired up the new ones and all they will do is come on but dont blink. I had him not use the running light wire on the front and checked them with a multimeter but still no blink. I am not familiar with the 954 as I have a 100RR and they work on mine. Any help is appreciated.

you need to add some resistors inline with the positive wires

I am pretty sure they need to be 10 ohm and High wattage ceramic resistors too.

also here's the wire chart and you may be able to get some from Radio Shack if it's in a pinch or else call up Brad at superbike supply and he has some he can ship to you

for the front and rear the harness wires are:

Left:
black is ground
orange is the directional
orange and white is the running lights

right:
black is ground
light blue is the directional
light blue and white is the running light


for the rear

left:
green is ground
orange is the directional

right:
green is ground
light blue is the directional.

sounds like the wires are crossed up they should at least blink, but blink fast

I also remembered that my led's didn't blink until i started the bike up too.
Then they blinked real fast so i slowed them down with the resistors that came with my clear alternative tail light...

You can also use one set of LED'S in the front or back and another set of regular bulbs. I had the same problem and that was the only thing that worked without having to add extra parts. On my "03 954 I put the LED'S on the back and regular bulbs on the front, besides who’s really going to see the front blinkers especially if your out there really riding. Ohh yeah, they will blink fast but I like it that way it's a little different.

I had this same problem, I used the other wires, "what they called the running lights in the book"

after I switched some wires my blinkers worked fine from then on.
