If it's the same # as a 954... it's an M1-108

i'll have to look into that .... thanx .... in most cases i would say use only a factory filter but mobil 1 are every bit as good and i can get those for 4$ cheaper .... but if anyone dissagrees please speak now or forever .... er wait .. just lemme know.

You will, undoubtedly get a barrage of opinions on this subject. I've been there before in the 954 forum. All I can offer is this... I have used this filter on my bike for almost 20,000 miles and I have never had ANY problems. You use your'e best judgement.

I think the 1000RR takes a different oil filter than the 954. Might want to check on this before doing a subsitute with a Mobil 1oil filter.

I have used aftermarket filters before and alot of them have failed and when the seals fail it sucks bad.... I would stick with OEM

I personally feel that saving four bucks should not be a consideration when deciding what filter to use.

use the Honda filter only!! no after market crap..they tested all the filter by ripping them open..the OEM filter is made the best..
the 929,954,600rr and the 1000rr all use the same oil filter..I just changed my oil today..
Castrol 10/40 and a Honda OEM filter
and on another note I let a 2004 gixxer 750 with a full Yosh get a big jump on me and I just pulled him in hard,I know its only a 750 but all the shit I been reading about it being as fast as the gixxer 1000 NOT

Funny, how on the internet, alot of the 750 boys talk about beating 954's and bigger bikes. My bud (01GSXR-750) said he has beat every 954 he has raced, well! I guess I had a fast one, pulled him with ease. He aint wantin none of this Gixxie. weeeeee
